Veterinary Technician Conference

June 21-23, 2019

Credit Hours: Up to 14 hours

The 2019 Texas A&M University Veterinary Technician Conference will take place on June 21-23, 2019 in College Station, Texas. The conference is celebrating 25 years of continuing education for veterinary clinical staff, planned by veterinary clinical staff by providing continuing education opportunities for veterinary staff from all types of practices and at every skill and experience level. The tracks that will be offered in 2019 are: Equine, Food Animal, Non-traditional Animals, Small Anesthesia, Small Emergency/Critical Care, and Professional Development. All tracks will run concurrently, providing a varied menu from which to choose. In addition to classroom presentations, we also offer other CE credit opportunities, wet labs and workshops, allowing for various educational interactive experiences. View the Seminar schedule, registration website and Facebook for additional activities and offerings during the Seminar.

New this year, and happening on Friday night, is early check-in, heavy hors-d'oeuvres, and Case Report Poster Presentation Competition. The competition is open to all Veterinary Technician Seminar registrants. We encourage all veterinary technicians that are interested in practicing their public speaking, presentation, writing and research skills to become involved in this exciting new opportunity. We also encourage everyone to check in early, spend time mixing and mingling and visit the Case report Poster Competition competitors to ask questions about the case reports. The Saturday key note address and buffet dinner will be given by Dr. Daniel Earl, San Antonio area veterinarian and practice owner. Come celebrate 25 years of veterinary technician continuing education by attending the 2019 Texas A&M University Veterinary Technician Seminar.
