Dr. Joe E. West, '54, DVM '56 has been recognized by the
Association of Former Students as a 2011 Texas A&M University
Distinguished Alumnus. Dr. West was honored by the College of
Veterinary Medicine & Biomedical Sciences for his significant
contributions to the veterinary profession at a reception on
Wednesday, Oct. 5th in the Mark Francis Room.

The College of Veterinary Medicine honored Fred A. Palmer, DVM
'69 at a luncheon on Friday, Oct. 15th for receiving the
Association of Former Student's Distinguished Alumni Award.
Dr. Palmer was recognized also at a black tie gala that evening,
and also at halftime at the Missouri/A&M football game.
