Co-Op
A Biomedical Science Cooperative Education program provides
students at the junior and senior levels with an option for
alternating school work with on-the-job practical experience in
selected vocational areas. Academic credits toward Biomedical
Science graduation are awarded while on cooperative education
assignments. The program provides a student with a close look at
potential postgraduate employment prior to more formal
commitment to the field. Also, it provides a means for earning at
least part of the educational costs.
