The mission of the Study Abroad Programs Office at Texas
A&M University is to provide students in all fields, at all
levels, a wide range of educational experiences abroad. Such
experiences not only provide students with the appropriate
academic/professional training and sensitivity to other cultures,
but also help to create effective humanitarians needed for an

Biomedical students are encouraged to participate in a study
abroad program. Typically, students will participate in these
programs once they are junior standing.

The deadline for University-wide Reciprocal Education Exchange
Program (REEP) applications for Fall 2014 or the 2014-2015 Academic
Year is Saturday, March 1. These applications may involve
ordering an official transcript or asking for faculty
recommendations. These items will take time to obtain so you
will want to ensure that you request these items as soon as
possible for the deadline.

New Zealand, South Korea, Singapore).
BIMS students will typically find their study abroad program
from a program listed on the TAMU Study Abroad website. For
other programs that are offered through the Study Abroad Programs
office, please visit the following links.
All Texas A&M students who are
participating in international activities are strongly recommended
to register with Texas A&M's Study Abroad Programs Office to
provide Emergency Contact information, obtain Travel/Medical
Insurance, and register with the U.S. State Department's website
prior to departure abroad.
