Change of Major

Current Texas A&M Students

There will be a change of major informational meeting for students wishing to change majors into Biomedical Sciences. The time and location is listed below:

• Tuesday, March 19 from 3-4pm in Room 159 Reynolds Medical Sciences Building
• Thursday, March 21 from 10-11am in Room 159 Reynolds Medical Sciences Building
• Monday, March 25 from 3-4pm in Room 159 Reynolds Medical Sciences Building
• Thursday, April 4 from 10-11am in Room 159 Reynolds Medical Sciences Building

These meetings are not required to change into Biomedical Sciences, but are highly recommended.

Requirements

• Require 2.50 cumulative GPA at Texas A&M
• Must have completed one (1) semester at Texas A&M
• Must change major into Biomedical Sciences before reaching 74 completed credit hours (cumulative - both at Texas A&M and transfer courses)
• Must have completed all CBK courses with at least a "C" in all courses
  • Exception being that CHEM 228 & 238 and PHYS 202 must be in progress the semester that the change of major takes place

Common Body of Knowledge (CBK) courses
