This lecture series will focus on the traumatized patient that presents in shock to your hospital and the preparation that needs to happen before you can definitively fix their problems. We will first discuss the recognition and correction of shock focusing on things that will correct the problems and not cause further issues in the future. Second, we will discuss the “big ticket” items that must be addressed before you anesthetize a patient. Lastly, we will talk about pain management tactics and safe induction protocols with a focus on multimodal therapy. Emphasis will be placed on practicality and simplicity.

Registration/packet pick-up is at 8:30 AM, and lecture is from 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM.
