Cardiopulmonary arrest is the worst case scenario for our patients and is intimidating for both novices  and seasoned veterinarians alike. The Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation lab, presented by RECOVER  Instructor Dr. Justin Heinz, will provide you with the tools necessary to give your patients the best   chances during a code. This small group session will use models to work through these crisis situations.   All participants will receive certification in Basic Life Support and Advanced Life Support practices. Fee:   $100

Blood Smear Evaluation can be improved by learning simple hands-on techniques to provide valuable diagnostic insights and help to ensure the accuracy of your in-house laboratory tests. This session will focus on how to get the most from techniques such as blood smear exam and body fluid analysis, and avoid common pitfalls. Dr. Unity Jeffery, a Clinical Pathologist at Texas A&M, will lead a small group session. Fee: $100
