The Board is proud to announce the winners of this year's ACVIM
research abstract winners:
Dr. Allison Bradley (PhD student of Dr. David Twedt) from
Colorado State University won for the best oral presentation by an
individual in training with her abstract entitled: "Hepatic copper
and zinc concentrations in feral dogs versus dogs fed a commercial
Dr. Candice Bailey (internal medicine resident mentored by Dr.
Craig Ruaux) from Oregon State University won for the best poster
by an individual in training with her abstract entitled: "Serotonin
and chromogranin-A expression is increased in the small intestine
in dogs with inflammatory bowel disease"
Each will receive a cash prize from our organization. On behalf of
the CGS I would like to congratulate both Drs. Bradley and Bailey.
