  • Meet The Dean

    Eleanor Green, DVM, DABVP, DACVIM has been the Carl B. King Dean of Veterinary Medicine since 2009. Dr. Green is a passionate horsewoman and has owned and shown horses for nearly 60 years winning numerous circuit and state championships. She has also served on the boards of directors of a number of horse industry organizations.

    The various areas of the college are lead by a team of associate deans, assistant deans, department heads, and directors.

  • Our History

    The college started as the School of Veterinary Medicine in 1916. Our first dean was Dr. Mark Francis. Since 1916, our programs, faculty, staff, and students have evolved, and we now boast very diverse educational opportunities.
