Logos

The CVM visual identity includes two main components: the VetMed lockup and the “Texclepius” graphic element. If you have questions about appropriate usage of the VetMed lockup and/or the Texclepius graphic element, contact a graphic designer in CVM Communications.

VetMed Lockup

The VetMed “lockup” is the official identifying mark, or “logo,” representing the CVM.

Proper Use

  • The primary lockup is the horizontal version. However, if design dictates, a suitable alternative is provided, in the stacked lockup.
  • If at all possible, the Aggie Maroon versions should be used. White versions are for use on fields of Aggie Maroon. There is also a black version for use on pieces that will not be printed or viewed in color. These are the only acceptable colors.
  • The lockup must be spaced away from other text or images and must not be too small to be read clearly.
  • The lockup must not be modified in any way, and must never be distorted, tilted, repositioned, retyped, or recreated, in whole or part.
  • The addition of the Texas A&M primary mark is not necessary if your material is representing only the CVM. For cross-college material, contact a graphic designer in CVM Communications.

Texclepius Graphic Element

As a secondary identifying symbol for the CVM, the Texclepius graphic element may be used only on pieces that also include the VetMed lockup.

Proper Use

  • This symbol is available in three colors (maroon, white, and black) and must not be modified in any way.
  • The element must never be distorted, tilted, repositioned, or recreated, in whole or part.
  • The element may not be placed in close enough proximity to the VetMed lockup so that it is mistaken as a part of the official identifying mark representing the CVM.
