CVM IT Services Continuous Improvement Initiative
The College of Veterinary Medicine & Biomedical Sciences IT
Services team has embarked on a series of Continuous Improvement
(CI) Projects to help align the day-to-day operations of the IT
Services team with their Mission and Vision. Each CI Project
will review a specific process by which work is completed within
their scope. After review by the IT Services Advisory Committee,
recommendations for improvements will be submitted to the Dean for
approval as new college IT policy. Some examples of projects the
committee will consider may include improving the ease and
simplicity of contacting the help desk, software licensing
implementation, and new call tracking software to reduce work order
completion time. Faculty, staff, and students are encouraged to
submit recommendations for the committee to evaluate in the future.
