Lunar New Year Celebration

To celebrate the year of the Dog, the Texas A&M University Confucius institute will once again be hosting the annual Lunar New Year celebration at the George Bush Presidential Library & Museum! This is the single largest holiday each year for many of Asian descent, and a wonderful opportunity to celebrate the diverse population of Bryan/College Station. This year, there will be a celebrity appearance when the First Lady of Texas A&M, Miss Reveille, comes out to celebrate the year of the Dog!

A festival for community members to experience the many facets of Asian culture.

Open and free to the public!

Saturday, February 10th 2:00 pm – 5:00 pm

George Bush Presidential Library & Museum

Arts and crafts activities, traditional instrument performances, Chinese fashion show, various performances by local martial arts and dance groups, & traditional lion dance performed by Lee’s Golden Dragon Troupe out of Houston at 4:30 pm.
