About Mi Casa Es Su Casa

Posted October 04, 2017

Howdy Texas A&M Faculty and Staff!

My name is Judy Torres, cultural director for MSC CAMAC’s Mi Casa Es Su Casa program. On behalf of our organization, we hope you are having a great start to this semester. I wanted to take a moment to share an exciting opportunity to connect with students through participation in our program.

About Mi Casa Es Su Casa

Mi Casa Es Su Casa offers students an opportunity to network and create a support system at Texas A&M University. Professors and staff invite current students to their homes for an evening of meaningful conversations over a home-cooked meal. As we begin this new academic year, MSC CAMAC is searching for new hosts to join our program. Mi Casa Es Su Casa is an enriching experience for both student and host. If you know of students who would benefit from the program, please encourage them to sign up by visiting our website

Host Responsibilities include:

·         Complete and submit a contract

·         Provide directions to your location

·         Purchase food for scheduled dinners

·         Facilitate conversations among students during scheduled dinners

MSC CAMAC will be responsible for identifying and recruiting student participants, ensuring they arrive in a timely manner.

The dates for the fall semester are October 19, 2017, and November 16, 2017

If you are interested and would like to participate, please sign up using this link: maroonlink.tamu.edu/submitter/form/start/137824

Your collaboration is what makes this program successful. Thank you.

Respectfully,

Judy Torres
