Annual Lunar New Year celebration at the George Bush Presidential Library & Museum!

 

To celebrate the year of the Rooster, the Texas A&M University Confucius institute will once again be hosting the annual Lunar New Year celebration at the George Bush Presidential Library & Museum! This is the single largest holiday each year for many of Asian descent, and a wonderful opportunity to celebrate the diverse population of Bryan/College Station.

What:

A festival for community members to experience the many facets of Asian culture & food

Who:

Open and free to the public!

When:

Saturday, February 11th 1:00 pm – 4:00 pm

George Bush Presidential Library & Museum

More:

Arts and crafts activities, Asian inspired menu items for purchase from Chef Tai, various performances by local martial arts and dance groups, & traditional lion dance performed by Lee’s Golden Dragon Troupe out of Houston at 3:30 pm.
