Nominate a Student or Apply for Elect Her Today!

Posted October 27, 2017

The Women’s Resource Center is proud to present Elect Her: Aggie Women Win, a one-day conference designed to encourage and train college women to run for student government and future political office!

This free, non-partisan conference features speakers such as Texas State Rep. Donna Howard, College Station City Council Member Linda Harvell, Texas A&M Class of 2019 President Amy Sharp, and Student Senate Speaker Jasmine Wang.  During the conference, participants will engage in conversations about how to develop a message, connect with constituents, and learn from dynamic speakers about the ins and outs of the campaign trail.

The Women’s Resource Center and our campus partners will host the 2017 Elect Her Conference on Sunday, November 12, 2017, from 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m.  The conference is designed for female-identified Texas A&M University students, however, we encourage all students (regardless of gender or academic classification) who are interested in this unique leadership training opportunity to apply today. Seating is limited to 100 students. Learn more at
