Participate in the 2017 Aggie Corn Maze!

Posted September 06, 2017

Howdy Ags!

October is going to be an exciting month for the Texas A&M Agronomy Society as we open the Third Annual Corn Maze! Last year proved to be a huge success for us, but we are looking to expand even more. Our hope is to recruit some eager Aggies!! There are three ways you can get involved individually and as an organization!

First, the maze will be open every weekend from Friday to Sunday night with the exceptions of the October 7th and 28th football games. During these times, we need volunteers to help run the corn maze, booths and children’s games. Of course, these hours can be signed off for volunteer time! If you or your organization would like to volunteer please email tamuagronomysociety@gmail.com by September 17th at 5PM. Your email should include your name, organization affiliation (if applicable) and the weekend dates and times that you could work.

Additionally, we are searching for organizations that would like to have concession/ game booths at the corn maze. These organizations would be responsible for setting up and providing volunteers for these booths. Anyone looking to do this would need to email tamuagronomysociety@gmail.com by September 10th at 5PM. Emails should include organization affiliation and booth ideas. We will provide you with any paperwork needed to participate. This would be a great opportunity for your organization to get some publicity and serve the BCS area!

Lastly, if your organization is looking for a fun October social or group outing, the corn maze is the perfect choice! Alongside the maze will be other fun activities and pumpkin patch picture areas. Any Aggie organization can bring a group for a discounted price!! Please inform us of your group outing at least three days before y’all come, so we can insure your discount!

We are excited to work with y’all and hope to see some new faces at the corn maze this year.

Thanks and Gig ‘Em
