VOICE Dia De Los Muertos Display
Posted October 19, 2017
VOICE would like to invite the entire CVM to take part in our
4th annual celebration of Día de los Muertos
or "Day of the Dead"!
Día de los Muertos is a non-religious traditional Mexican
holiday that takes place on November 1st and 2nd every year to
celebrate and honor loved ones who have passed away. This
holiday is an opportunity to spend time celebrating and to find joy
in the living memories of these individuals. Beautiful
displays featuring the pictures of loved ones who have passed are
integral to the traditional celebration, so VOICE is going to set
up our own display here in the CVM!
If you wish to participate in our celebration, please reply to
this email and attach a photo or two of who you would like to honor
(people and pets are welcome) to be featured on our display. We
would love to celebrate all of these wonderful lives. The deadline
for sending pictures will be October 31st.
VOICE will print the pictures for you, or if you prefer to
provide your own, you can place an envelope containing your own
copies in 3VM mailbox #104.
If you would like further information on the rich history of the
Dia de los Muertos celebration, visit http://www.mexicansugarskull.com/support/dodhistory.html
Also, take a look at this opportunity to celebrate Dia de los
Muertos at the MSC on Nov. 3rd.
