GRE Exam

Graduate Record Examination (GRE) scores are required as part of the application. The selections committee looks at a standardized test such as the GRE as a way to evaluate applicants without the variability introduced by different colleges, majors and loads carried by students.  Texas A&M University considers scores on the verbal, quantitative and analytical writing sections.

  • Scores must be submitted directly to Texas A&M University using the institution code #6812 (Texas A&M University - College of Veterinary Medicine). Failure to do so will result in disqualification of the applicant's file.
  • Applicants must have taken the GRE between August 1, 2011 and the current application cycle year.  Only scores within the past 5 years of application submitted will be considered. Exam scores over 5 years of age will not be considered.
