surgeon with detailed information on the use of common surgical
instruments encountered in soft tissue surgery including scalpels,
thumb forceps, scissors, surgical clamps, and needle holders.
Developing accuracy, consistency, and
security while using these instruments are the main goals
for students participating in this course.
This self-paced course was developed to provide veterinary
students with practical knowledge concerning the diagnosis and
prevention of 10 zoonotic diseases of importance to veterinary
practitioners, including Salmonella, rabies, Lyme disease,
and more.
This continuing education course utilizes state-of-the-art 3D
modeling and audio-visual demonstrations to teach new pain
management techniques to veterinary practitioners.
This 3-part training series, developed
for the United States Department of Agriculture, features narrated
step-by-step videos and the Atlas of Avian Diseases, a clinical
tool designed to assist in the diagnosis and management of avian
diseases.
