  • Miranda Bertram and Rachel Curtis were honored at the 2014 CVM Graduate Research Symposium with High Impact Awards.  These awards are made by the College of Veterinary Medicine and Biomedical Sciences, and are given to graduate students for obtaining research grants or for first-authored publications.  Miranda received an award in the 'Small Grant' category for receiving an AAZV grant. Rachel received an award in the 'Large Grant' category for receiving the NSF Graduate Research Fellowship.  Rachel also received an award for second place graduate student platform presentation for her work on Chagas disease eco-epidemiology.  Congrats to all!!12262576944_505ac1fb07_b
  • Rachel was awarded a $5000 CVM Graduate Student Research Grant!  This will support new efforts for culture-based diagnostics of the Chagas disease parasite this summer. Way to go!!
