Dr. Joseph Cyrus Parambeth

Cyrus graduated in 2007 from the Kerala Agricultural University, College of Veterinary and Animal Sciences, India. After a brief period in mixed animal practice he then pursued a Master of Veterinary Science in Veterinary Medicine at the Karnataka Veterinary, Animal and Fisheries Sciences University, India in 2009 where his interest in clinical gastroenterology intensified. He spent a year in a small animal specialty clinic in Bangalore and in the fall of 2010 started his Ph.D. program at the GI Laboratory. He is currently exploring non-invasive diagnostic markers in the clinical assessment of intestinal diseases, with a minor interest in canine exocrine pancreatic insufficiency. Joseph hopes to pursue a residency program after his Ph.D.
