Dr. Luis Medina graduated with a Biological Science Master’s in Agriculture and Environmental Microbiology and his Ph.D. in Genetics and Molecular Biology from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul in Brazil. In 2007, he completed a postdoctoral at the Institut National de la Recherche Agronomique (INRA) in Jouy-en-Josas, France. Dr. Medina worked at the University of Vale dos Sinos. He currently serves as Postdoctoral Research Associate at the GI Lab.
