Ieva Romenkova

Ieva was born and raised in Latvia. Her mother, both of her grandparents and a great grandfather are Veterinarians. After being a Rotary Exchange Student in Seguin, TX she decided to pursue her dream to become a Veterinarian at Texas A&M. She graduated Magna Cum Laude with BS in Biomedical Sciences in May 2012 and joined GI Lab in July 2012. She is currently applying for her U.S. Residency to be able to apply for Texas A&M Vet School.

Ieva enjoys spending time with her Texas family, she got married in June 2012. She loves being outdoors, camping, cooking, catching up with her family and pets on Skype and sometimes just relaxing while watching a good movie. Her family breeds, shows and trains Chinese Crested Dogs and has FCI registered kennel Golden Diamond Cresteds, she hopes to bring one of their puppies to Texas to show in U.S. and introduce more people this wonderful breed.
