Kim is a native Texan who came
to the B/CS area in 1989 to attend Texas A&M University and has
lived here ever since. After earning a B.S. degree in Animal
Science, Kim’s career focused on animal reproductive/ cloning/
transgenic research and services in both academia and industry. She
came to the GI Lab early in 2012 and became the Service Lab
Supervisor later the same year.
Kim married a retired Royal
Canadian Mountie/ snowbird/ writer in 2013 and has one teenage son.
Kim is an avid sports fan. NCAA and NFL football are her favorite
