Melissa Markel

Melissa is from Houston, Texas and is currently working towards achieving her masters degree in Biomedical Science.  Her research involves identifying shifts in bacterial populations in diseased and healthy canines.  In her spare time, Melissa enjoys riding motorcycles through the Texas hill country, playing with her Boston Terrier Toby and expanding her pastry skills.
