Sarah Read

Sarah was born and raised in Beaumont, Texas. She graduated from Texas A&M University in 2002 with a BS in biomedical science. Immediately following graduation she went to work as a research assistant at the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston, Texas. While there, she worked on a number of projects involving synthesis, expression and purification of membrane proteins. At the start of 2005 Sarah returned to Texas A&M University to work in the GI Lab where she serves as the head research technician responsible for coordinating various research efforts and collaborations.
