Katharina Ojala is a Graduate Academic Advisor in the College of
Veterinary Medicine and Biomedical Sciences at Texas A&M
University. She graduated with her Bachelors of Science in
Psychology from Texas A&M University in May 2013 and began her
advising career in the Study Abroad Programs Office as a Study
Abroad Advisor shortly thereafter. She transitioned into academic
advising in March 2016 primarily working with graduate students in
the College of Veterinary Medicine and Biomedical Sciences.
Outside of work, Katharina enjoys to spend time with her crazy
pants cat Leo, learning and trying new things, and enjoying the
outdoors. She is originally from Finland and has lived in Germany,
Texas as a child, and Hungary before moving back to Texas and
making it her home. She loves to travel to new places and is
constantly looking for new adventures and places to go.
