Topic:  ORCiD (Open Researcher and Contributor ID)

All graduate students at Texas A&M University will be assigned an ORCiD through the University Libraries.  You will receive an email in your neo account once it is created to set up your password.  Gail and Heather will discuss why it is so important to have an ORCiD and how to manage your account (privacy setting, importing previous works, etc.).  You will likely get your ORCiD assigned before this meeting, so if you already have an ORCiD please add your official TAMU email address (@tamu.edu email, not @cvm.tamu.edu email) to your ORCiD profile to avoid a duplicate ORCiD.  Check here for more information and FAQ's.  This will be a very informative meeting!
