Spring Research Symposium

Date: January 30, 2014

Howdy! The CVM-Graduate Student Association and the CVM Postdoctoral Association are once again excited to host this annual event that allows graduate students and post docs to present their research to the entire College of Veterinary Medicine and Biomedical Sciences.  The Symposium will be held on January 30, 2014 in the Mark Francis room followed by dinner and the keynote address at Pebble Creek Country Club.

Our keynote speaker will be Dr. Joe Kornegay DVM, PhD, DACVIM-Neurology, recently hired as Professor at Texas A&M University.

The deadline for submitting abstracts is January 8, 2014. Please submit no more than one page, single-spaced, as a Word document to Jessica Rodriguez jyrodriguez@cvm.tamu.edu. Please use the following format for your abstract submission. This can be via email or as a hard copy. If you received a travel award from the GSA, you must present your work at the Symposium. For those who did not apply for a travel award, this is a great opportunity to interact with your fellow graduate students and practice your presentation technique. We will be giving out cash awards for both poster and oral presentations!
