It is my pleasure to invite you to join us for the 2013 Homecoming Weekend at the Texas A&M College of Veterinary Medicine & Biomedical Sciences. We are excited to celebrate the outstanding accomplishments of our veterinary students, honor the significant contributions of alumni, and welcome new-comers to Aggieland.

We have an outstanding weekend planned with activities that will encourage and inspire you. I hope you will take a moment to read about our wonderful events.

You may purchase your tickets and make contributions through this website. This weekend would not be complete without each and every one of your. We are buzzing with excitement and we look forward to sharing this spectacular college weekend with you.

White Coat Ceremony

White Coat Ceremony

The White Coat Ceremony acknowledges the point of transition from classroom study to clinical work. Second-year veterinary students receive their white lab coats in a ceremony honoring the legacy of Jeanne Fairweather, M.D. All friends and family of 2VM students are welcome to attend. The Outstanding Alumni Reception honors individuals whose contributions to veterinary medicine are a credit to the educational standing of our college. We want to be able to plan for you, therefore advance reservations are required. More information >>

Tours and Lectures

Lectures and Tours

Parents and guests are offered the opportunity to tour the Small and Large Animal Hospital as well as attend lectures. Lectures on various topics offer a glimpse into the rigor, complexity, and depth of knowledge students experience on a daily basis. While not attending lectures, parents can take tours of our state-of-the-art facilities that provide the hands on training crucial to the development of the successful veterinarian. Homecoming Luncheon

Homecoming Luncheon

Veterinary students, parents of veterinary students, graduates, and faculty members, as well as friends and supporters of the college are invited to attend. Advance reservations are required for this event also and are $10.00 per person, or $5.00 per veterinary student or child under 12. More information >>

Baseball Game

Aggie Baseball vs Auburn

The Auburn Tigers will also be in town and we have a block of tickets for Saturday's game for those alumni who would like to get together and enjoy some SEC baseball! Tickets are $15 a piece and can be purchased by contacting Noell Vance at 979-845-9043. Enjoy some Blue Bell Ice Cream as you watch the fightin' Texas Aggies beat the Tigers in beautiful Olson Field at Blue Bell Park.
