Files designated as lockups are the official identifying marks
of the Texas A&M College of Veterinary Medicine &
Biomedical Science (CVM). VetMed Lockups consist of the Texas
A&M Block ATM to the right or above the words "Veterinary
Medicine & Biomedical Sciences" and "Texas A&M University."
(Note: A separate mark or logo representing the university is not
required.)
The primary lockup is the horizontal version, however, if design
dictates a more vertical orientation, a stacked alternative is
provided. If at all possible the Aggie Maroon versions should be
used. White versions are for use on fields of Aggie Maroon. There
is also a black version for use on pieces that will not be printed
or viewed in color.
The CVM graphic element, which is an updated version of the
"Texclepius" symbol, is also made available in Aggie Maroon, white,
and black. Please note that it is a secondary element and may only
be used when the VetMed Lockup is also present.
The VetMed Lockup and Texclepius are provided below in three
formats at high-resolution.
PNG files are raster images (provided at 300
dpi) and are best utilized when you need the background behind the
symbol to be transparent. They can be used in any Microsoft Office
application and work well in all instances where you might have
used a JPG file in the past.
EPS files are vector-based and should be used
in high-resolution print pieces, as they can be scaled without
losing quality. They may be opened with Adobe Illustrator or other
vector illustration programs and can be placed in design programs
such as Adobe InDesign.
PDF files are also provided.
To download the files, "Right-Click" on the
name of the file you want to download. For Windows, select "Save
target as..." For Mac, select "Save Link As..."
