South Africa - Ukulima Farm RFP

Request for Proposals

The Ukulima Farm is a new research platform for the Texas A&M System in South Africa. The farm is a collaborative effort between the Norman Borlaug Institute for International Agriculture of the Texas A&M System and the Howard G. Buffett Foundation.

We seek applications from researchers throughout the Texas A&M System and their international colleagues to implement innovative collaborative research programs using the Ukulima Farm platform. These programs are intended to be long-term in scope. Seed money will be available for the first 3 years of programs to attract additional resources for establishing relationships and relevancy of the experiment station and the overall research agenda. These research programs should focus on emerging commercial African farmers.
