Graduate Salary Information

Every year as graduation approaches, area veterinary employers begin to think about recruiting the brightest students available. Employers have many questions regarding benefits, salary ranges, and tips on how to recruit the perfect new employee.

The starting salaries of graduating veterinarians, and veterinary medical salaries in general, have recovered from the recent US economic downturn. Salaries have been increasing at a rate greater than inflation. There are several pay scale information sites to help guide veterinary employers in deciding what scale they should offer a new graduating veterinarian from Texas A&M.

The College of Veterinary Medicine & Biomedical Sciences graduates are extremely competitive in the market. Recent DVM new graduate salaries have approached $70,000 (2014-2015).
