CVM Communication's three Silver Quill Awards

The Texas A&M College of Veterinary Medicine & Biomedical Sciences’ (CVM) Communications office was recognized with three Silver Quill awards, presented by the International Association of Business Communicators (IABC).

Lamb, a graphic designer in CVM Communications, attended the IABC Southern Region connect18 Conference in Nashville last month, during which she presented on “10 Ways Good Design Can Elevate Communication” and recognized organizations that won merit and excellence awards in her capacity as the Silver Quill awards director.

CVM Communications won three of those awards, including “Award of Merit” for the Spring 2018 edition of CVM Today magazine, an “Award of Excellence” for “TAMU-CVM + VET: Communicating #Harvey—In the Field and at Home,” and an “Award of Excellence” for the Second Annual White Paper on Pandemic Preparedness, which was a collaboration with the Scowcroft Institute of International Affairs at The Bush School of Government & Public Service.
