President
Whitney Steinmann
Whitney is a fifth-year senior,
Animal Science student finishing her minor. She is from Munich,
Germany and is interested in pathology and diagnostic medicine.
The President presides over all
meetings and organizes PreVet Society events. She is the leader for
shaping the goals and progress of the society and oversees all of
its functions and affairs.
Interesting vet experience: "At work
in the histopathology department, where I watched the dissection of
a puff adder brain to determine the cause of death while the tech
was trying not to get poked with the still venomous fangs."
Places to travel to: "I would like
to explore the parts of the US that I have not seen yet:
California, New York, Hawaii, and Alaska."
