Treasurer
Maddie Wiersig
Maddie is a junior Animal Science
major. She is from San Antonio, Texas and is interested in mixed
animal medicine.
The Treasurer manages Pre-Vet Society's finances and is in charge
of collecting dues.
Interesting vet experience: "I
watched a cat C-Section and two of the three kittens weren't
breathing. I had to do two tiny finger compressions on one of the
kittens until it coughed and made tiny sounds that let me know it
was getting air!"
Places to travel to: "I would love
to visit Australia because it's so wild and different. Plus I'm
crazy about the outdoors!"
Pets: One miniature Schnauzer named
Ellie.
