Shadow Program
The Shadow Program is sponsored by the Texas A&M Pre-Vet
Society for A&M undergraduate students of any major interested
in pursuing a career in veterinary medicine! Students will be
matched with a veterinarian for an unpaid volunteer position
observing clinical procedures and cases based on student interest
and clinical availability. This is a great opportunity to observe
different aspects of the profession that may provide guidance to a
particular specialty or area of interest in this very diverse field
of medicine!

Opportunities are based on veterinary participation and may not
be available in all areas. Students must be motivated and possess
respectable academic and moral integrity. You may fill out the
application below for admission into the program. Please either:
email the completed application to tamuprevet@gmail.com, or spcoordinator@gmail.com;
turn it in at a meeting; or turn it in at the Pre-Vet cubicle in
Koldus. This is open to all current A&M students, PreVet
members or not. Hours earned through the Shadow Program may not be
used for points towards Pre-Vet Society Membership.
Applications for theShadow Program Coordinator position are now
open. This is a great opportunity to be more involved with Pre-Vet
and gain leadership experience. If you are interested in applying
for Shadow Program Coordinator for the 2012-2013 school year
fill out the application and turn it into the Cube at Koldus in the
Shadow Program Binder OR email the application to Edward at spcoordinatortamuprevet@gmail.com.
The deadline to apply for this position is March 7, 2012 at 5:00
PM. No late applications will be accepted.The application is

have a 2.75 GPR & be a distinguished member for the last 2
