Shadow Program
The Shadow Program is sponsored by the Texas A&M Pre-Vet
Society for A&M undergraduate students of any major interested
in pursuing a career in veterinary medicine! Students will be
matched with a veterinarian for an unpaid volunteer position
observing clinical procedures and cases based on student interest
and clinical availability. This is a great opportunity to observe
different aspects of the profession that may provide guidance to a
particular specialty or area of interest in this very diverse field
of medicine!

Opportunities are based on veterinary participation and may not
be available in all areas. Students must be motivated and possess
respectable academic and moral integrity. You may fill out the
application below for admission into the program. Please either:
email the completed application to tamuprevet@gmail.com, or spcoordinator@gmail.com;
turn it in at a meeting; or turn it in at the Pre-Vet cubicle. This
is open to all current A&M students, PreVet members or not.
Hours earned through the Shadow Program may not be used for points
towards Pre-Vet Society Membership.
