Volunteering
Service Hour Requirements:
In order to be an active member of the Pre-Vet Society, you are
required to earn 44 points per semester. These points can be
attained through service hours, meetings, socials, and field trips.
Service hours count as 2 points per hour, but no more than 20
points can be attained from service hours alone. Proof of
participation with a sponsor's signature is required to be turned
in at the end of the semester. Service hours do not necessarily
need to pertain to veterinary medicine!

Aggieland Humane Society
The humane society is a great way to help out in the community
while gaining hands-on animal experience. To volunteer, you must
attend an orientation session. These are held on Tuesdays and
Wednesdays at 5:30 pm. Aggieland Humane Society also offers a
foster program for those animals that need special care before they
can go to their forever homes! To sign up for an orientation
