From the Associate Dean for Research and Graduate Studies

Howdy! I am happy to extend this warm welcome on behalf of the
Texas A&M University College of Veterinary Medicine &
Biomedical Sciences.
On staff we have many outstanding faculty members and recipients
of highly prestigious awards such as the National Sigma Xi Award
for Innovation, the Distinguished Service Award by the Society for
the Study of Reproduction, the AVMA/AKC Career Achievement in
Canine Research Award, and the John P. McGovern Science and
Research Communication Award among many others. We have a very
active research faculty with an average funding level of 14 million
over the last five years; over half of which comes from the NIH and
USDA.
We have recently added on to our existing Veterinary Medical
Research Building and now have an additional three floors of space
to include 26 labs, 30 faculty offices, and 22 post-doctoral
offices (enough to seat 66 post-docs).
I invite you to peruse our website to review specific
information about our research programs as well as information
about each faculty members' specific research interests. If you
have any questions or would like additional information please
contact my office.
