Spring Hands-On Necropsy Saturdays
Both members and non-members are invited to join the anatomical
pathology department to participate in hands on necropsies.
Necropsy Saturdays are held every Saturday from 9 am to noon,
beginning January 12. Contact Christina Comingore (cmcomingore@cvm.tamu.edu) for more
information!
Mystery Slides
Every month a new "Mystery Slide" is placed near the Path Club
microscope in room 230. All students are invited to review the
slide and come up with a morphological diagnosis. The slides are
then discussed with one of the Pathologists in the 50X rounds room.
Prizes are awarded to the students with the right answers. Join in
on the fun... Can you find the diagnosis?
Pathology Rounds Every Friday at 1:00 PM
Anatomic Pathology Rounds are scheduled every Friday from 1:00
to 2:00 p.m. in the necropsy building (exit doors outside Critical
Care Cafe toward the large animal hospital, immediately outside of
the doors turn to the right and continue walking to the Anatomical
Pathology Building). This is open to all veterinary students,
faculty, and residents. Feel free to bring interested friends! For
more information contact Dr. Brian Porter.
