About Us

See Spot Run is one of the many fundraising events held annually by the Student Chapter of the American Veterinary Medical Association.  We, the Travel Fund Committee, set forth to raise enough money to cover the expenses of travel for those veterinary students attending educational symposiums and conferences, as well as eligible internship, externship, and job interview travel expenses.

That said, it is our intention to raise financial support in a way that promotes the principles of animal health that are central to our future career. Since 1993, the annual See Spot Run event gathers animal lovers, exercise enthusiasts, children and families from the community and surrounding areas to participate in a fun and exciting 3K/5K race benefiting the physical and emotional wellbeing of pets and their owners alike.
