Nasopharyngeal stenosis
Gabby's story
Gabby is a little Chihuahua. She developed scar tissue at the
back of her nasal passages following a routine anesthetic
procedure. She could not breathe through her nose, and had to learn
to breathe with her mouth open. It was hard for her to sleep and
eat.
Using a combination of CT imaging, endoscopy and fluoroscopy, we
were able to identify the location of the scar tissue, re-establish
an opening, and place a stent to keep her airway clear.

mouth and looking at the back of the nasal passage, whilst the
nasal stent is deployed over the guidewire placed through the left
nostril
