Primary Care

The Primary Care rotation offers
practical experiences to 4th year veterinary students by
providing client-centric routine care. We provide care
for animal wellness and acute disease including minor
emergencies.
The focus is to develop the skill sets that new graduates need
to succeed in private practice.

Services commonly found in general practice are found in Primary
Care including:
Preventative medicine such as vaccinations, deworming, heartworm
and flea medications
Treatment in both wellness and sickness
Nutritional/dietary advice
Minor emergencies
Skin and ear treatments and solutions
Geriatric counseling and medicine
All of this is done under the direct supervision of a
veterinarian

We offer the ability to drop your pet off for the day as early
as 7:30AM. This will enable you to go to work or class or run
errands while we take care of your pet. You can use the links
below to print out and pre-fill out admission forms to make the
drop off as quick and smooth as possible.

Walk-ins are welcome! We appreciate appointments, but if
you have a minor emergency or need routine care without an
appointment, we will work you in.
We look forward to serving you and
your pets!
