Colonoscopy
With a flexible endoscope, we are able to examine the lining of
the colon and rectum. This procedure is very helpful for patients
with blood in the stools, or a history of urgency and pain with
defecation. We need to clear the colon before the procedure, so
several enemas are administered the day before the colonoscopy.
