Oncology

The Oncology Clinic at Texas A&M University is a specialized service treating cancer in animals of all species. Our service sees patients either suspected of having cancer or those who have already been definitively diagnosed with cancer. We are a group of hard working individuals striving to cure cancer in pet animals. However, a cure is not always possible, and we focus many of our efforts on achieving a good quality of life in our patients. The Oncology Clinic at Texas A&M University is also active in clinical trials. The purpose of these clinical trials is to find better ways to treat cancer in animals that may also translate into better therapies for humans down the road. We are also a member of the Comparative Oncology Trials Consortium (COTC). This is a group of several Veterinary Colleges that participate in multi-institutional clinical trials sponsored by the NIH through their Comparative Oncology Program (COP).
