Beau
Beau was rescued by Mrs. Stevenson's niece, Mattie, from a
drainage ditch in Houston. He was named Beau because his
intelligence and pride was a thing of beauty.
Madlin Stevenson took him in and he lived with her for 10 years.
Upon Mrs. Stevenson's death Beau came with his many housemates to
live at the center. Beau passed away in October 2001 at fifteen
years of age. He lived a long life and his absence at the center is
felt by all of us who have cared for him and loved him over the
past year.

Muffin came to the center in 2008 with his other five
housemates. He and his brothers are all big boys who love keeping
us entertained. We are all enjoying Puppy and his siblings being
here with us at the center.
