Sandy came to live at the Stevenson Companion Animal Life-Care
Center in 1993. She was the first canine resident pet at the
center. Her role as ambassador of good will was played out well.
Visitors and staff alike were touched by her warm, affectionate
personality. All new resident pets to the center were welcomed and
loved by Sandy.
The first resident will always hold a special place in the
hearts of everyone that knew her. Sandy was overcome by cancer. Her
beauty, bark and presence at the center will forever be

Ethel Mae came to the center in September of 2012. She is a
local girl. Ethel Mae is an English Setter with a beautiful
personality as well as being a beauty to observe. Everyone at
the center has fallen totally in love with her. We look
