An amazing experience
Howdy Ags! Well, this is my last blog before I graduate! As you
can imagine, I am so excited for graduation! I still can’t believe
it is happening in just two weeks! It feels like it was just
yesterday that I was moving into my dorm on the north side of
campus and trying to figure out where all of my classes were. My
time in college has definitely flown by!
I am still in the process of figuring out what I am doing after
graduation, so I am not sure if I going to be an ambassador next
year, but these past two years as a Biomedical Sciences Ambassador
has been such an amazing experience for me! When I took this job
two years ago, I did so because I wanted to help prospective
students. There were so many things I wish I had known as an
incoming student, so being able to provide information to future
students has been an absolute blessing. I love being able to help
people, so knowing that I contributed even just a little bit to a
future student’s experience here at Texas A&M has been truly
rewarding. That being said, if you are thinking about
applying to be an ambassador I would 100% say, “DO IT!” You get
to experience so many different things and meet so many different
people. It is definitely an opportunity I wouldn’t pass up!
I would like to thank a few people for making this experience
possible for me. First and foremost, my parents; without the two of
you I would not be here. I can’t thank you enough for everything
you have done for me and for making attending college possible.
Secondly, I would like to thank Angela Clendenin for bringing me
onto the ambassador team! I can’t thank you enough for providing
this opportunity for me and for always being there to give me the
best advice about school and my future! Last but not least,
Christina Sumners. Without you, the ambassador program could not
carry on. Thank you for everything you do! From scheduling tours,
to posting/editing our blogs, to dealing with all of our crazy
schedules, you do it all, so thank you so much!
Well, I need to get back to studying for my finals. Good luck to
everyone on their finals! I hope everyone does well and has a safe
and fantastic summer!
