Anna

Anna

Anna is a third year veterinary student whose focus is on lab animal medicine, comparative medicine, and research. She received her undergraduate degree in Biology from Texas A&M University. While she is not staying active in student organizations and school she enjoys scuba diving and staying educated on fitness and nutrition.

Anna has a 2-year-old YorkiePoo named Kona.

"I knew I wanted to become a veterinarian when I realized I wanted to contribute to human medicine, but had no desire to go to medical school. Veterinary medicine will allow me to benefit both man and animal," Anna said.

Anna's vet school survival tip: "To never say never, open every door, and take every opportunity to explore all aspects of veterinary medicine."
