Ashley is a senior Biomedical Sciences student and is applying
for vet school this year. When she is not studying she enjoys
baking, going to the gym, or just relaxing at home.
She has a cat named Lucy, two foster kittens named Charlie and
Fluffy, two guinea pigs named Bugsy and Oreo, and a cute little
chorkie puppy named Kobe that she shares with her boyfriend. (Her
boyfriend is a huge Lakers fan, hence the dog's name).
"I knew I wanted to become a veterinarian when I started working
at a small animal veterinary clinic at the age of sixteen," Ashley
said. "I love helping people and I love animals, so I knew this
career would be fulfilling for me."
Ashley's undergrad survival tip: "Review your notes for 15
minutes after class every day. Staying on top of the information
will make it easier to study for tests and help you avoid pulling
those all night cram sessions the night before the test."
